Join Ryatt and Johnston as they present their photography, sculptures and feature the paintings by Fresno’s newest artist, Bibi Bielat. The open house also showcases a gorgeous succulent garden, walking trails and sitting areas with breathtaking views of Table Mountain and the surrounding foothills.

Downtown Fresno Partnership with Univision Television & Radio, is proud to present Fresno’s annual Cinco de Mayo Festival on historic Fulton Mall this weekend (May 5-6).

Celebrated worldwide as an occasion to pay tribute to the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, Cinco de Mayo is one of Downtown Fresno's biggest annual events. Nearly 60,000 people attend this free outdoor festival each year, held on the historic Fulton Mall in Downtown Fresno.

Highlighting authentic Mexican food, dancing, music, shopping, kids activities and more ... the celebration is a great weekend destination for families.

Mexico's Leading Bands To Perform In Fresno This Weekend

Mexico's most popular and best-selling regional music bands also known as "bandas" will be at Fresno's Regional Sports Complex this weekend to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. 

Thousands are expected to fill the sports park to dance and sing along to Banda Los Recoditos, La Original Banda El Limon and Alacranes Musical among others.

The event will be held on Sunday,  May 6th from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Regional Sports Complex on Jensen and Marks Avenues.

Parking will be $5.00 per car.

Admission is free with a coupon between noon and 4:00 p.m.

The City of Fresno is charging a  $1 entrance fee for those 13 and over.

The event is sponsored by radio station 101.9 La Buena and Telemundo 51.

Thousands Expected At This Year's Cinco De Mayo Celebrations

Thousand of people are expected to gather in Fulton Mall to celebrate Fresno's annual Cinco De Mayo Festival.

Cinco De Mayo is celebrated worldwide as a time to pay tribute to the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862.

The celebration is one of Downtown Fresno's biggest events. 

Almost 60,000 people show up to the free festival every year.

The celebration features Mexican food, dancing, music, shopping, and activities for kids. It's a family friendly time.

The event is sponsored by the Downtown Fresno Partnership and Univision Television & Radio.

It runs from noon to 7pm May 5th and 6th.

Binational Rock Concert To Celebrate Cinco De Mayo

The Mexican Consulate hosting the Third Binational Rock Concert on Saturday, May 5th.

 The concert features local bands and a band from Mexico called Dedo Caracol.

The event will be held at Fulton 55. Admission is free.

Catholic Television To Hold 22nd Annual Telethon

KNXT Catholic Television will hold its 22nd annual Live Telethon: New Sheppard, New Life.

It airs Saturday April 22nd  from 7 p.m. through Wednesday April 25th from  to 10 p.m.

This annual telethon includes guest appearances from religious and community leaders.

The Telethon is KNXT’s longest running fundraiser and includes performance highlights each night that reflect the multicultural diversity of the Diocese of Fresno including Portuguese, Hispanic, and Filipino nights.

The Catholic channel's goal is to raise $100,000.

KNXT is the only full-powered television station owned and operated by a Catholic Diocese in the United States.

It has been on air since 1986.
