Home Instead Senior Care Began from Personal Experience
Paul and Lori Hogan founded Home Instead, Inc. and began serving seniors in Omaha, Nebraska, as Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. It was Paul Hogan's own family experience caring for his grandmother that made him realize the need for non-medical home care and elder companionship services to help seniors live independently at home.
With a similar story of an aging loved one who needed someone to give that "personal touch" of care, David Phillips opened one of the first franchises in California right here in Fresno. Growing up in the shadow of a geriatric nurse who knew what it meant to give it all back, David saw first hand the miracles that arise from someone who truly cares and can dedicate their personal time to someone in need. Home Instead Senior Care in Fresno began with one purpose: to enrich the lives of those they touch.
